Day 02 KANDY CITY TOUR

Upon arrival in Kandy, proceed to visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, the city’s most important attraction and one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. This revered temple houses a sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and dates back to the 16th century, with several enhancements added over time, including a striking golden canopy. Visitors can witness the daily rituals and offerings performed at the shrine. Please note that a modest dress code is required when entering the temple. The temple complex is further enhanced by its beautiful octagonal pavilion, adding to its architectural grandeur.
