Day 02 TEZPUR - BOMDILA TRANSFER

Day 03 BOMDILA - TAWANG

Day 04 TAWANG SIGHTSEEING TOUR

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Tawang. Visit the famous Tawang Ganden Namgyal Lhatse Monastery, popularly known as the Tawang Monastery or Gompa. This magnificent 400-year-old Mahayana Buddhist monastery is the largest in India and the second largest in the world. Perched amidst breathtaking mountain surroundings, the monastery is renowned for its rich collection of ancient scriptures, gold-lettered Buddhist texts, valuable books, traditional paintings, and beautiful tapestries. The impressive 18-foot-high gilded statue of Lord Buddha inside the monastery complex is a major attraction.

Later, visit the historic Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, the only Indian to have attained such a revered position in the Gelugpa sect of Buddhism. The monastery holds immense religious and cultural significance and offers a peaceful spiritual atmosphere.
