When is the best time to perform Umrah?
Answer.Off-peak months (like Muharram, Safar, and Rajab) are ideal due to fewer crowds. Ramadan is spiritually rewarding but very crowded.
Do I need a visa for Umrah?
Answer.Yes, most pilgrims require an Umrah visa, or you can use a Saudi tourist e-visa if eligible (for certain nationalities).
What types of accommodation are available?
Answer.Hotels range from budget to 5-star near Haram. Book early, especially during peak seasons like Ramadan and school holidays.
Is there any dress code for Umrah?
Answer. Yes. Men must wear Ihram (2 white, unstitched cloths). Women wear modest, loose-fitting clothes that cover their entire body, usually in white or black.
What are the steps of Umrah?
  • Answer. Basic steps include:
  • Ihram – Entering a state of ritual purity.
  • Tawaf – 7 circles around the Kaaba.
  • Sa’i – Walking between Safa and Marwah 7 times.
  • Halq/Taqsir – Shaving or trimming hair (for men); trimming a lock of hair (for women).
Can women Perform Umrah alone and other rules for Women while performing Umrah?
Answer.No, women can’t perform Umrah alone but the only rule for women is that she should have a maharam either father, brother, husband or son who should accompany her during her Umrah Journey
What should I do before entering Ihram?
Answer.It's recommended to trim nails, clean underarms and pubic area, and groom hair if needed, and perform Ghusl (ritual washing) or Wudu (ablution). 
Can I use perfume after entering Ihram?
Answer.No, applying unscented oils or perfumes after entering Ihram is forbidden. 
What should I pack for Umrah?
Answer. Essential items include Ihram clothing, comfortable shoes, a prayer mat, water bottle, toiletries, a power bank, Quran, a first aid kit, face masks, hand sanitizer, and a document pouch.
