Waratah on York is located in a restored Victorian mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Launceston city centre. It features free off-street parking and Wi-Fi internet access. Waratah On York overlooks Launceston City Park and is a 5-minute walk from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Cataract Gorge is only 3 km away, and Launceston Airport is a 20-minute drive. Waratah On York offers individually decorated rooms with high ceilings and many original features from 1862. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also feature a bath and views of Tamar River. Please note that there is a 1% charge when you pay with a credit card. To access the accommodation from the car parking area is via stair access only (approximately 25 stairs). Some rooms are located on the 1st floor, and are only accessible by using stairs.
