Kasees Apartments & Mountain Lodge is located in the heart of Thredbo Village, inside Kosciuszko National Park. It offers apartments with panoramic views of Mount Crackenback and the surrounding valley. Guests enjoy a shared lounge with a log fire, a lovely garden with barbecue facilities, and a Finnish sauna. All apartments are heated and feature a kitchenette with an electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. Including bed linen and towels, each unit comes with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, DVD player and free WiFi. The property is just 5 minutes’ walk from the central pedestrian area, packed with restaurants and shops. There, you can find the ticket office and ski-and-bike rental facilities, right by the Kosciuszko Express chairlift. In winter, the public shuttle stops in front of Kasees Apartments & Mountain Lodge. Kasees has limited on-site parking including vehicle size restrictions, and all bicycle storage is on the Lodges outdoor bike racks. Please inform Kasees Apartments & Mountain Lodge in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Parking is subject to availability due to limited spaces. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please note that Kasees Apartments & Mountain Lodge is a seasonal hotel and is closed early May until early June and from early October to mid November. Please note that the entry fee for Kosciuszko National Park still applies to guests staying in Thredbo. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Kasees Apartments & Mountain Lodge in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Limited parking spaces are available, and only cars, sedans and small SUV can fit. PLEASE NOTE that dual cab utes including those with rear trays; vans; trailers; mini-buses or similarly long and large vehicles; and vehicles with rear bike racks ARE NOT ABLE TO PARK in the driveway. On arrival, vehicles can unload at the top of the drive and then guests will be shown the options for free village car parking. During the winter season, there is a free village shuttle bus which stops near the apartments and transfers guests to the ski slope. Please note that Kasees Apartments does not accept payments with American Express credit cards. Please note that all children are charged an adult rate. There are no special children rates available. Due to the design and history of Kasees Lodge, it does not offer indoor or undercover secured storage for any type of bicycle. Kasees has a limited number of fixed bike racks installed for guests at the back of the lodge (outside) on the driveway guests are required to bring their own chains & locks. Alternatively, guests can choose to keep their bikes locked on or in their vehicles.
