HotelDescription#The Redang archipelago is made up of 9 islands, Redang is however the only inhabited island in the cluster. It's been declared a marine park since 1994. On the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia 45 min north of Kuala Terengganu boasts of rich and diverse ecosystem, people from all over the world are attracted to this little island because of its vast and magnificent marine life. The hotel is undoubtedly in a class of its own on Pasir Panjang, being one of the more luxurious resorts with hotel-style facilities, including its own swimming pool. It is located on the northern end of Pasir Panjang beach. The hotel has a range of 40 detached, semi-detached chalets and standard rooms to choose from. Accommodation comprises a suite, 7 detached and 20 semi-detached chalets and 12 standard rooms. Each chalet or room has air conditioning, fan and hot water heater. A fully equipped diveshop with qualified instructors and dive masters who can arrange fun diving and snorkeling trips. There are also a number of sea kayaks to rent. It's a jungle out there. There is much adventuring to be done, and the amount of fauna ranges from birds to hair raising monkeys. The Matahari Restaurant has a superb sea view and offers a selection of local, continental and bbq on special days.alaysia Airlines operates daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu (about 45 min). Ground transfers can be arranged to take you from the airport to Merang (about 40 min) where the boat leaves twice daily at 09.30 am and 01.00 pm for Redang (about 1 h).
