The airport shuttle service from Gan International Airport will incur an additional charge of USD 12 per adult, 12 years and above, and USD 6 per child, 2 - 11.99 years. Please be informed that, following a comprehensive review, Gan Invest (Maldives) Pte Ltd has decided to discontinue the current operations of Equator Village with effect from 1 November 2026. All existing tour operator contracts will remain valid until 31 October 2026, and all confirmed bookings with stays up to and including this date will be honored. Operations and guest services will continue as scheduled during this period. Equator Village has been placed on stop sale for arrivals and stays from 1 November 2026 onwards. Accordingly, no new tour operator contracts will be entered into or renewed for the 2026/2027 season. The future direction of the property is currently under review, and no final decision has been made at this stage. Further updates will be communicated to relevant partners and stakeholders in due course.
