E-Visa
- The Qatar eVisa is an electronic visa facility that allows eligible travelers, including Indian citizens under applicable categories, to apply online for entry into Qatar without visiting an embassy or consulate. It is designed to simplify travel for tourism, short visits, and certain approved purposes.
- Applicants can complete the visa process online by filling in personal details, passport information, travel dates, and uploading the required supporting documents. After successful submission and payment of applicable fees, the application is reviewed by Qatar immigration authorities.
- Once approved, the eVisa is issued electronically and is usually sent by email or linked digitally to the traveler’s passport. Travelers are advised to carry a printed or digital copy during travel.
- The Qatar eVisa generally permits short stays for tourism, family visits, or approved temporary purposes depending on the visa category issued. Validity period and permitted stay duration are decided by the issuing authorities.
- Even after eVisa approval, final entry into Qatar is subject to immigration clearance at the port of entry. Travelers may be asked to show return tickets, hotel booking, sufficient funds, or other supporting documents.
- Applicants should ensure all information submitted is accurate and matches the passport exactly, as errors may lead to delays, rejection, or boarding issues. It is also advisable not to make non-refundable travel bookings before visa approval.
- Overall, the Qatar eVisa system offers a convenient and streamlined online option for eligible travelers seeking short-term entry into Qatar.
- If you are visiting Qatar, a tourist visa will allow you to enter the country only once.
- The processing time for the visa is approximately 4 - 5 working days.
- If you have availed of the 90-day tourist visa, it is mandatory to call our visa experts every 30 days to update your visa during your stay in Qatar. Exit permit will be processed 2 days before your return date.
