After breakfast, carry a packed lunch for the day and set out for a full-day excursion in the Ladakh region. Begin with a visit to the 1,000-year-old Alchi Monastery, the only gompa in Ladakh built on flat ground, renowned for its exquisite wall paintings and ancient Buddhist art. Next, proceed to the Likir Monastery, famous for the three-storey Dharma Wheel Gompa and its massive Buddha statues. Continue your journey along the Indus River, stopping at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, known as the Sangam. Enroute, visit Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and the intriguing Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Also, drive past Basgo Palace (hiking only) and visit the Leh Hall of Fame, which houses a museum dedicated to the Kargil War. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh, to board your scheduled flight for your onward destination, concluding your memorable Leh & Ladakh tour.
